  8. This is a collection of humourous stories set in an imaginary rubber bridge 
  9. club in London, built around interesting bridge hands.  The hands are cute, 
  10. the stories are funny and the characters are memorable (The Hideous Hog and 
  11. the Rueful Rabbit are now a part of bridge lore).  One of the most famous
  12. bridge books ever written, this should certainly be enjoyed by any bridge 
  13. player with a sense of humour - I've read it three times now.
